If you have a dog, you may be familiar with Earth Rated products. I’ve been using their Poop Bags for years, which are not only really sturdy, but responsibly made with 65% post-consumer recycled plastic.
As I’m already a fan of the company, when I was contacted by them regarding some of their other products, I was all too happy to receive some samples. They sent along a few items: some lavender-scented Grooming Wipes, a Fetch Toy, and some of their Dog Refresh Mist.
I was worried that the lavender scent of the Grooming Wipes might be overwhelming, but the actual scent is quite pleasant and subtle. The wipes are certified cruelty-free, and importantly are also hypoallergenic. While the wipes themselves aren’t that thick, they are sturdy, and pick up dirt well. They won’t replace a bath, but it’s a great way to clean up your pet in between baths or after a trip to the dog park.

The Fetch Toy is made from natural rubber, and is BPA-free and dishwasher safe for cleaning. It floats, and is shaped to provide an erratic bounce for your dog. The yellow color is easy to spot when playing in the grass or the water. As evidenced by my dog’s chewing on it, this lightweight toy is also surprisingly durable. It comes in three sizes, with the largest (the one pictured here) costing $9.99. A medium is $7.99, while a small is $6.99. The Dog Refresh Mist is a deodorizing spray that can be worked into a dog’s grooming routine. You mist it onto your dog from the back of the ears down to the tail, and then brush it through. It has a very pleasant-smelling formula of white tea & basil.
I have a bulldog, and while they’re not as smelly as some breeds, Tor can definitely get a bit gamey from hanging outdoors. Using the Refresh Mist, I noticed an immediate improvement after spraying and brushing. The Refresh Mist is also supposed to take care of tangles, but as I have a straight-haired dog, that wasn’t something I could put to the test. While the mist isn’t a cleaning solution, it does give my dog a nice glow-up between baths. I’ll definitely be using some this weekend before we have guests over!
