I spend a positively astounding amount of time shopping for, purchasing, and talking about clothes, shoes, and related fashion accouterments. In another era, I likely would’ve been referred to as a “clothes horse” or even a “fop,” but in today’s parlance I’m what you might think of as a “guy with poor impulse control” who makes “questionable financial decisions.”
Eh, to-may-to, to-mah-to.
This year’s holiday gift guide hits all the highlights — -from garments and footwear to bags and grooming products — -and we hope that in it you’ll find the perfect gift for that special stylish someone.

Dr. Wolf Beard Oil
By: Fable Beard Co.
Price: $17.99
Tennessee’s Fable Beard Co. doesn’t so much have fragrances as it has distinct personalities. Each beard product is personified by a character, so you get a little story and a dash of theme in addition to your scent profile. While their winter seasonal oils (Jack Frost and The Claus) are likely more tonic to the holidays, I’m still championing their Halloween-y fragrance, Dr. Wolf. With notes of blueberries, tobacco, and aged mahogany, it’s deep and rich but never overpowering. –Z.

Sky Castle has taken Friendship Bracelets to the next level with their Sticki Rolls Jewelry line! Sticki Rolls combines several of my daughter’s favorite things — — jewelry making, stickers, and surprise toys — -into a single fun, wearable, sharable accessory. Sticki Rolls are bracelets and necklaces assembled with beads and tiny rolls of stickers that kids can share with their friends. Leather Bookmate with Bookmark
By: Levenger

The Levenger Leather Bookmate makes for an elegant holiday gift, offering book lovers a luxurious way to keep their books safe. I love the classic red color, the bonus leather bookmark, and 50 page nibs. It comes in at 7W x 1.75D x 10H, which makes it a nice size for the average book. –D.S
Bluey Rugby Jersey
By: BoxLunch
Price: $44.90
This year, BoxLunch saw fit to turn our family’s favorite blue dog into a range of clothing and accessories, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled. By far the favorite is the Rugby Jersey. It wears well as a shirt for grown-ups and as a stolen sleep shirt for kiddos. It holds up to spilled pizza and many washes, whilst retaining its shape and softness. The shirt fabric is of very high quality and has professional team-level embroidery. This collection has gone beyond the basic components of the show and has really done fans proud with the creativity of the images and items chosen. –SP
Chainsaw Man x Dim Mak — Public Safety Zip Hoodie
By: Crunchyroll
Price: $ 74.99
If you’re a fan of the manga and anime series Chainsaw Man, then you’re sure to love this hoodie. The front of the garment has you joining the Special Division of the Devil Hunters, while on the back is a large illustration of the titular hero himself. The heavyweight hoodie is a 70% cotton/30% polyester fleece blend, with ribbed cuffs and waistband. –PB
Mario Kart Flight Jacket
By: Nintendo
Price: $99.99
Nintendo of America sent me this exquisite blouson jacket as part of a “Dad’s Night In” virtual celebration for Father’s Day 2024, and since then it’s become my fair-weather go-to jacket. The flat black poly/cotton blend really makes the embellishments — -including a smattering of Mario Kart patches and a large screen printed central back design — -pop. My favorite part, though, is the custom liner sporting all those smart product logos from your favorite Mario Kart 8 Deluxe tracks! –Z.
Bomber Jacket Flight Plan Tote Bag
By: Levenger
Price: $299.50
The Levenger Bomber Jacket Flight Plan Tote bag is in a class of its own. The elegant full-grain leather design comes with a detachable/adjustable shoulder strap, key clasp, two interior pockets, an interior zip pocket, and two exterior side slip pockets. It is sized at 15.25W x 7D x 10.75H and 2.35 lbs, which means it’s large enough to fit all your essentials while not weighing you down. –D.S
Suede XL
By: Puma
Price: $85
While I’ve been slow to embrace the recent return of early-2000s-style wide-legged pants to the forefront of casual American fashion, there has been a silver lining to this voluminous denim cloud: the corresponding resurgence of big, chunky sneakers! At the very vanguard of this movement is the Suede XL from Puma. It takes the iconic styling of the classic Puma Suede and adds in comfy padding, an extra-large tongue, and thick laces for an oversized look that still affords a comfortable fit. –Z.
Dusk Sunglasses
By: Chamelo
Price: $186
“Wow!” That is the word I usually get when people see me change the tint on my Chamelo Dusk sunglasses with the click of a button. I like how I can change it to suit the needs of the moment, whether I’m out in the sun or in my office. My favorite feature is the ability to play music and take calls right from my sunglasses. No one can hear what I’m listening to, and it keeps my ears free to listen to my surroundings. –D.S
Pixel Watch 3
By: Google
Price: $349 (41mm LTE model)
I’ve never thought of myself as much of a luxury watch guy or even a cutting-edge wearable tech guy — -instead preferring to stick with older model smartwatches that were “good enough” even in the face of shiny new releases — -but my recent move from an original Pixel Watch to the Pixel Watch 3 was an eye-opening experience, to say the least. With a longer-lasting battery, brighter display, faster charging, and an overall snappier interface, it’s everything I loved about my old Pixel Watch but better! –Z.
